About the Contemporary Framed Print
Some pictures are worth lingering over. A portrait with a brilliant expression, a landscape you could stare at for hours, or that piece of artwork you've been saving for somewhere special. Our Contemporary Framed Prints give those images their moment, with the considered finish of a gallery piece and none of the intimidating gallery hush. There's an art to the finishing touches. Your image is printed in vivid high resolution on premium smooth matt satin film, then mounted onto rigid 5mm white PVC foamboard for a beautifully crisp, perfectly flat presentation. For that classic gallery look, surround your image with a generous 50mm or 70mm printed white border, or skip the border altogether for a clean, contemporary finish. A protective layer of 3mm crystal-clear cast acrylic glazing adds visual depth while keeping every lovely detail on display. And then there's the frame. Our premium Nordic frame moulding features a refined 23mm front face and substantial 35mm profile depth, finished in genuine natural wood veneer. Choose Natural Light Ash for effortless warmth, Dark Coffee for something richer, or Black or White for a striking, contemporary contrast. The result is more than a photograph in a frame. It's a piece that feels deliberately chosen, beautifully finished and entirely at home on your wall. The right frame doesn't change the story. It gives it the spotlight.
Border Width
A white border works like a gallery mat: it gives your image room to breathe inside the frame. Add 50mm or 70mm of border around your selected size, or choose no border for an edge-to-edge print.
Wood Finish
Our Nordic frame profile — a balanced 23mm front face and 35mm side depth — is finished in a genuine wood veneer with a natural grain you can see and feel. Behind it, clear acrylic glazing and a crisp white border give your print a polished, gallery look. Choose the tone that suits your room and your image.
Image Effects
Keep your image in its original colour, or have it converted to a classic black & white. Our designers prepare the conversion and include it in the layout you approve.
