Canvas Print Co. is a South African custom wall-art studio, operated by BBG Signs (Pty) Ltd. We design, print and deliver made-to-order prints on canvas, framed, acrylic, metal, wood and paper. These terms set out the basis on which we provide our website and services.

By using our website and placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use our services. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version always lives on this page with the revision date above.

Everything we make is custom printed and finished to your specifications — your chosen image, size, material and options. Because each piece is made for you, it is treated as custom-made goods under South African consumer law. We are a print partner, not a creative or graphic design studio: we help with image preparation, custom sizing and wall layouts around the artwork you supply, rather than original brand, logo or illustration design.

Before anything is printed, we check every image for resolution and how it fits the size you’ve ordered, and we send you a free digital layout to approve. This is your opportunity to confirm sizing, cropping and image quality.

Production only begins once you have approved your layout and we have received proof of payment. Once an order is in production it cannot be changed or cancelled, as it is already being made specifically for you.

Prices are shown in South African Rand and include VAT at 15%. Delivery is calculated at checkout based on the size of your order and the delivery address. We accept card and other methods through our secure payment provider (PayFast), as well as EFT / bank transfer — for EFT orders, production begins once proof of payment is received and funds reflect.

When you upload an image for printing, you confirm that you own the copyright or have permission to use it for this purpose. You remain responsible for the content you supply, and Canvas Print Co. is not liable for any third-party copyright or rights claims relating to customer-supplied images. We use your images solely to produce your order and provide related services such as layout proofs and image optimisation — see our privacy policy below.

We take great care with colour and quality, and our layout proof lets you check your artwork before printing. Please note that some natural variation in colour and finish can occur between screens, materials and the printing process. Such variation is a normal characteristic of custom printing and is not considered a defect.

How we ship your order, our production and delivery times, and the circumstances in which we replace or refund an order are set out in full on our Shipping & Returns policy. As custom-made goods, our prints are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, but anything damaged in transit, defective or incorrectly fulfilled will be put right.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable South African law.

The text, images, designs and branding on this website belong to Canvas Print Co. or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except for the artwork you supply for your own order.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
