We’re just going to come out and say it – Women are amazing!

Don’t get us wrong, men are pretty darn great too, but because it’s Women’s Day this month in South Africa, we’d like to give a little shout out to the ladies.

To all the women, young and old, thank you for all that you do.  Whether you are a worker bee or a boss, at home or at work (or both), supporting your friends, family and co-workers.  Thank you for being courageous and compassionate.

With this in mind, we thought it would be a great idea to share a few gorgeous projects that we’ve worked on, for bold and beautiful women just like you.

Have you been thinking about getting some canvas prints done?

If the answer is yes, then we hope you are inspired by what others have done, so that you can plan your own custom prints with us.

If not, then why not?  Just think about it and let us know when you change your mind 🙂

For now, just sip on a cup of something (whatever you fancy) and scroll through a few of our favourites.

Custom Canvas Prints

In case you didn’t already know, we offer custom sizes for all of our prints, from a minimum of 150mm x 150mm up to a maximum of 1200mm x 2400mm.  This allows you to plan your print (or prints) to perfectly suit the wall space that you are working with.  If you are not sure how to work out the perfect size, then get in touch with us so that we can help you to work out the best dimensions.

This beautiful world map canvas was printed for a nursery.  We love the thought of creating a space that fosters learning and knowledge, without putting too much pressure on our little ones.

Photo Wall

A photo wall can be put together in many different ways.  You can create a grid with multiple prints in straight lines or you can go with various sizes and have an informal layout.  If you google “photo wall layout templates” and click on the images tab then you will see what we mean.  There are no hard and fast rules about how to structure a photo wall, so do your own thing, and have fun with it.

This fabulous photo wall has a long-term plan.  It started out with just a few prints and she is going to add to it over time, as the kids get older.  Such a special addition to a home – like a little walk down memory lane.

Split Canvas Prints

We love split canvas prints, and many of our customers agree with us.  The traditional 3-panel split is still a favourite but it’s so much fun when we receive an order for a variation of this idea.  You can combine panels of different sizes or varying heights to create your split.  The only thing that you really need to keep in mind when planning your split canvas is which image you want to use.  The image will determine how many panels will work and where the splits need to happen so that they enhance the image, instead of distracting from the focus.

This gorgeous split canvas took inspiration from the traditional 3-panel idea, but the widened panels have made a panorama that extends across the wall.  The magical looking photograph works perfectly with this split layout and creates a beautiful focus wall.
